1. I can't see my desired supervisor name!
Please inform the project commitee regarding this issue!
2. Can a team be formed with members from different batches?
Yes, a team can be formed with members from different batches, but only if they have the same current credit completion and credit requirements.
3. Do both of the team members need to provide project details in the PMS system?
No. Only the team leader (or another designated team member) needs to create a profile, provide the project details, choose a supervisor, and invite other team members. The other team members, upon receiving an invitation, only need to create their own profiles with their personal information. Upon completion, a message like "Supervisor confirmation pending" will indicate that the team member's action is done.
4. What are the eligibility requirements for enrolling in the Final Year Design Project?
To enroll in the Final Year Design Project, a student must have successfully completed the 3rd year with regular credits.
5. Are there any specific guidelines for selecting a project topic?
Students can choose any topic within their selected field from the provided list in PMS. However, the final approval of the topic will be granted after the title defense.
6. Is it mandatory to have a system for both research based and software based FYDP?
Yes.
7. Which template should I follow for the project report and which one for the thesis report?
Both the templates are different so you can find the different templates for each of them below. (Here templates should be provided in PMS)
8. Should I include the Complex Engineering Problem's identification for my Project too if I am an old batch student?
If your ID initial is senior than 201 batch, then you may avoid including Complex Engineering identification in the report but it is better to include it. So including Complex Engineering part is recommended
