1. Introduction
Welcome to the Project Management System (PMS), a web-based platform designed to facilitate the
management of projects, theses, and research works for students of the Department of Computer
Science and Engineering at Daffodil International University (DIU). By accessing or using PMS,
you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Definitions
- "PMS": The Project Management System, including its website, features, and
services.
- "User": Any individual accessing PMS, including students, faculty, and
administrators.
- "Content": Any data, information, files, or materials uploaded, shared, or
generated on PMS.
- "Administrator": Faculty members or appointed personnel responsible for
managing PMS.
3. Eligibility
- PMS is exclusively available for students, faculty, and authorized personnel of DIU's
Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
- Users must have valid DIU credentials to access PMS.
- Users are responsible for ensuring their login credentials are secure and not shared.
4. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and up-to-date
information when registering or submitting any data on PMS.
- Appropriate Use: PMS should only be used for academic purposes. Users are
prohibited from uploading inappropriate, offensive, or malicious content.
- Intellectual Property: Users must ensure uploaded content does not violate
intellectual property rights. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
5. Data Privacy and Security
PMS collects user data including login credentials, submissions, and communications solely for
academic purposes. Data may be shared with faculty and administrators for evaluation. PMS will
not share user data with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
6. Prohibited Activities
- Using PMS for non-academic or commercial purposes.
- Attempting to hack, manipulate, or disrupt PMS functionalities.
- Sharing or distributing sensitive academic data without authorization.
7. Limitation of Liability
PMS is provided "as is." DIU and PMS administrators shall not be liable for loss or corruption of
data, unauthorized access, or system downtimes.
